(Principal Sponsor) – Mr. Jade Butay is Jake and Arlyn’s Ninong. Jade has been a member of the Cabinet of several Administrations where he has managed multiple state departments. Governor Josh Green appointed him as the Director of the State of Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR) effective December 5, 2022. Prior to his appointment as DLIR Director he was the Director of the State Department of Transportation (HDOT) overseeing 15 airports, 10 harbors, 2,500 miles of highways, and 2,600 employees since November 1, 2017.

In the past, Jade has also been HDOT’s First Deputy Director, Deputy Director at the DLIR, and as First Deputy Director of HDOT. Before working in State government, he previously served in various leadership positions in the private sector. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College. He grew up in San Nicolas, llocos Norte.

(Principal Sponsor) – Dr. Jocelyn is Jake’s friend and Ninang. They are both dancers with Lingingay cultural dance troupe. Jocelyn Agregado is the owner of Aesthetikos Skin Care. She started the business in 2010 when she moved to Hawaii from the Philippines, during which time she has gained knowledge and experience in all aspects of skin. As a skin care specialist, she feels that educating her clients on their skin is one of the most important aspects of her career. How can you know what to do if you don’t understand what’s happening? She under stands how pigmenta-tion, adult acne and premature aging not only put your skin in jeopardy, but also your self-esteem and confidence.

She believes that by providing her clients with the knowledge and tools to correct the situation, she can help each individual client reach their skin care goal. She is very blessed to do what she loves. She believes in offering only the best for all of her clients and will always give an honest opinion. (Whether client likes to hear it or not.) She truly enjoys and loves helping her clients enhance their appearance so they can always put their best face forward. There is no greater satisfaction to her than knowing she has helped a client achieve far more than what they were hoping for. She was born in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She received her Pre-Medical degree of B.S. Medical Technology from Far Eastern University and earned a Doctorate degree in Medicine at UPHR-JFSM, Philippines.Her other half, Jade Butay is also Ninong.
